Pricing and sanctioning options for 2010 have been determined by the board.
For 2010, the league will again be dual-sanctioned ASA and USSSA. Fee for each is $25. The ASA of Minnesota has indicated the Minnesota Fastpitch League (MFL) will be the only metro league offering ASA sanctioning. This means that metro teams wishing to attend the Ringneck, or other out-of-state ASA events will need to participate in this ASA league.
New for 2010 is a bundled price for a state tournament – it can the the ASA of Minnesota event, or the USSSA State Tournament. Each tournament is a 3 game-guarantee format, and will have 2 umpires in each game (10U TBD). The league, and these state associations, wish to emphasize quality in these state events by using this format. The cooperation between these two associations should ensure teams can participate in multiple state tournaments if they desire, as they are committed to minimizing/eliminating overlap.
The dual-sanctioning, administration, and state tournament fees is $290.
Additional sanctioning can be obtained by teams outside of the league by contacting the sanctioning associations.
